What Locals Say about Pomona Park

  • Griffinaero
"This is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the lifestyle as it used to be. It is GREEN with hills, lakes, and streams for recreation (I have several boats from kayaks to a 25ft sailboat). It has pot-luck dinners and lots of variety of organizations to suit everyone. 10 years after moving from Connecticut, I haven't had an instant's regret. I love it here! Lake Como is far enough away from the hype yet close enough to have that within 20 minutes if you need something to crash the peaceful wind in the trees and nighttime serenity. My neighbor has a pet Angus steer, Cecil, who loves handouts. We can look over his pasture and see space launches from Cape Canaveral. Boating of every kind and fishing is available and St Augustine is 45 minutes away so even offshore fishing is doable. Hunting is availabe in lots of places. I've travelled a lot of the world but the best part is coming HOME."
